Midnight Season 2 Mythic+ encounter guide

Galvazzt

An energy-denial fight: Lightning Spires beam energy into Galvazzt, and if he reaches 100 energy he casts Consume Charge, which shocks the group, halves your damage for 20 seconds, and permanently stacks his own damage through Capacitance. Keys die here to soakers who intercept beams without defensives and to Induction pulses landing on an already-bleeding group.

The key group plan

Priorities before the pull

  • Deny energy above everything else; every unblocked spire walks Galvazzt toward Consume Charge and a permanent 25 percent damage stack.
  • Assign spire soaks out loud and rotate them with defensives, with the tank claiming the most beams as the most durable member.
  • Commit damage cooldowns early, because the fight only gets harder as more spires stack up around the room.

The casts that matter in keys

Lightning Spire

Lightning Spire

Galvazzt calls lightning strikes around the chamber that deal heavy Nature damage and knock back players within 5 yards, and each strike leaves a Lightning Spire that beams energy into the boss.

Dodge the initial strike, then stand in the spire's beam to block it from energizing Galvazzt, and rotate who is soaking as the debuff ramps.

Galvanized

Galvanized

While you block a spire, its beam deals Nature damage to you every half second and you take 250 percent increased Physical damage, but the spire cannot energize Galvazzt.

Soak with a defensive already rolling, never start a soak while low, and hand the spire to a teammate before the ticks outpace your healer.

Energize

Energize

Every unblocked Lightning Spire raises Galvazzt's energy, he slowly loses energy on his own, and reaching 100 energy triggers Consume Charge.

Treat every free-standing beam as a countdown: claim it or call for the tank to claim it before the bar fills.

Consume Charge

Consume Charge

At full energy Galvazzt shocks all players, reduces their damage done by 50 percent for 20 seconds, and gains a stack of Capacitance that raises his damage by 25 percent for the rest of the fight.

This is the fail state, so deny it entirely; if one slips through, pop personals for the shock and accept that the fight just got permanently harder.

Induction

Induction

Galvazzt releases a pulse of electric energy that damages the whole group and creates an Induction Field that keeps ticking on anyone standing inside it.

Be topped before the pulse, use a health potion if you are low while soaking, and step out of the Induction Field the moment it forms.

Role calls

What each role owns

Tanks

Soak as many spires as you can while holding the boss, and call which spire each other player owns so no beam is left free.

Healers

Spot-heal whoever is inside a beam through the Galvanized ticks and have the group topped before every Induction pulse.

DPS

Take your assigned spire with a defensive up, hand it off before you get dangerously low, and leave Induction Fields immediately.

Everyone

Dodge the initial Lightning Spire impact; the strike hits for near-lethal damage and the knockback can throw you into another beam.

Tyrannical: The Galvanized ticks and Induction pulses leave the healer no slack, so soak rotations must be assigned before the pull instead of improvised, and even a single Consume Charge with its Capacitance stack can push the boss's damage past what your group can survive, which makes energy denial the real enrage timer.

Pull-time callouts

Say these before the pull

  • Every beam you block is boss damage denied; claim your spire.
  • Defensive first, then soak; Galvanized ramps fast.
  • Pre-heal the Induction pulse, then step out of the field.
  • Never let him reach 100 energy; Consume Charge halves your DPS for 20 seconds.
