Start with a real Midnight recipe and the current Blizzard Auction House snapshot for your market. Then enter the stats and quality assumptions from your own profession window. This keeps a crafted weapon, enchant, and potion from being modeled as if they were the same craft.

The public API provides the recipe and market, not your knowledge, equipment, specialization, Concentration, or exact Resourcefulness tooltip. Enter those values from the character you are planning.
Expected profit = sale after the 5% Auction House cut + expected Multicraft value + Concentration quality uplift - material cost after expected Resourcefulness refund. It does not claim a guaranteed sale or simulate quality probabilities that Blizzard does not publish in the public recipe API.

Midnight reduced stackable reagents and consumables from three quality tiers to normal and high. Use the output price and reagent cost that match the tier you actually plan to craft.
It applies to stackable outputs. Equipment, tools, and other one-off crafts should keep Multicraft disabled unless the in-game recipe explicitly says otherwise.
Concentration reaches the next quality tier. Its value depends on that tier's sale price and your own available Concentration, so the calculator exposes those assumptions instead of inventing a proc value.
Recipe structure and current market prices come from Blizzard's public APIs. Character-only inputs, including knowledge, profession equipment, specialization bonuses, Concentration, and the exact Resourcefulness refund shown in-game, stay under your control.
