A 4-piece class set earns you "Midnight Season 2: Catalyst Unbound". Until then, charges arrive one charge at the start of the season, then one more every two weeks, and no content changes that. After it, Season 2 raid bosses, Mythic+, Bountiful Delves and rated PvP can drop them. The charge itself is Venomblight Manaflux.

Catalyzed pieces retain the original item's secondary stats and cantrips

Before this you converted a piece and took whatever itemization the tier piece came with. Now the stats on the item you feed in survive the conversion, so it is worth converting the piece whose secondaries you actually want rather than the first spare you have.
