Midnight Season 2 Mythic+ encounter guide

Adderis and Aspix

A council duo where Storm Blessed makes one boss immune at a time, so your damage uptime lives and dies on instant target swaps. Keys end here when the group fails the Thunder and Lightning stack-and-split, touches a Tempest Winds zone at the wrong moment, or gets Gale Forced into leftover wind zones while the healer is silenced.

The key group plan

Priorities before the pull

  • Damage only the boss that does not have Storm Blessed, and treat every blessing transfer as an immediate forced target swap.
  • Bring both bosses down together, because losing one partner sends the survivor into a Frenzy of reckless casting.
  • There is no boss cast to kick here, so spend your interrupt players' attention on swap discipline, the Thunder and Lightning stack, and Arc Dash dodges.
Ability reference

The casts that matter in keys

Storm Blessed

Storm Blessed

Adderis and Aspix call on the storm to grant one of them immunity to damage, and the blessing transfers between them as they get injured.

Hit only the boss without the shield, and call the swap the moment the blessing transfers so nobody wastes globals into an immune target.

Thunder and Lightning

Thunder and Lightning

Adderis dashes forward with his arcing blade, splitting heavy Nature damage evenly between all players within 8 yards, then winds up a peal of thunder that hits everyone within 20 yards.

Stack all five players on the dash so the split damage is survivable, then stay topped for the follow-up thunder; soaking with fewer bodies gets someone one-shot.

Tempest Winds

Tempest Winds

Aspix bombards player positions with wind impacts that coalesce into tempest zones lasting 2 minutes, and touching a zone silences and pacifies you for 4 seconds.

Bait the impacts to the edges of the room and never clip a zone; a silenced healer during Thunder and Lightning is how this fight wipes.

Gale Force

Gale Force

Aspix launches gale force winds at players, dealing Nature damage and pushing them away.

Before the knock resolves, put your back toward open ground so you are not shoved into Tempest Winds zones or an unpulled trash pack.

Overload

Overload

Adderis overloads with power for 8 seconds, doubling his attack speed and adding 25 percent bonus Nature damage to every melee strike.

The tank holds active mitigation through the full 8 seconds while the healer spot-heals; do not let Overload overlap an unmitigated moment.

Gust

Gust

Aspix blasts one player with Nature damage and leaves a 4 second damage-over-time effect on them.

The healer focus-heals the Gust target through the ticks, and the target uses a minor personal if the boss duo damage is already high.

Role calls

What each role owns

Tanks

Keep the two bosses stacked near the middle of the room so swaps cost no melee uptime, and hold active mitigation for every Overload window.

Healers

Top the whole group before each Thunder and Lightning, plan a throughput cooldown for the thunder that follows the soak, and focus-heal every Gust target.

DPS

Swap targets the instant Storm Blessed transfers, and keep damage-over-time effects off the shielded boss because everything into the shield is wasted.

Everyone

Stack for Thunder and Lightning, sidestep your Arc Dash line, and bait Tempest Winds impacts to the walls so the room stays playable.

Tyrannical: The Thunder and Lightning split plus the follow-up thunder will kill anyone who starts it below full, so treat every soak as a planned healing cooldown moment, and the longer fight fills the room with more Tempest Winds zones, so bait them deliberately or you will run out of floor.

Pull-time callouts

Say these before the pull

  • Call the swap out loud on every Storm Blessed transfer.
  • All five players stack and split every Thunder and Lightning.
  • Never touch a Tempest Winds zone; it silences and pacifies you for 4 seconds.
  • Face open ground before Gale Force knocks you back.
