Blade Combo
A series of deadly melee strikes on the tank that deal increasing damage with each hit.
The tank commits real mitigation to every Blade Combo, and calls for an external when it lines up with T'zala's Savage Maul.
Dazar is a movement and overlap fight. Gilded Destruction is the biggest party burst in the dungeon and simultaneously spawns Impaling Spears on player positions and turns his melee into Searing Gold frontals, while at 80 percent he mounts T'zala, who shares 100 percent of his damage taken and layers Savage Maul on top of Blade Combo as a stacked tankbuster window, with Reban's Deathly Roar fear demanding a clean kick.
Kick list: Deathly Roar
A series of deadly melee strikes on the tank that deal increasing damage with each hit.
The tank commits real mitigation to every Blade Combo, and calls for an external when it lines up with T'zala's Savage Maul.
Spears launch from the ceiling, hitting players within 7 yards of each impact for Physical damage plus a bleed for 5 seconds.
Sidestep every spear telegraph. During Gilded Destruction the spears spawn directly on player positions, so keep moving through that phase.
Dazar empowers himself with molten gold and unleashes a smash that deals heavy Fire damage to the whole party plus a damage-over-time effect for 15 seconds, and while empowered his melee attacks send Searing Gold waves out of his front.
Use personal defensives and healer cooldowns on the smash, dodge the spears that spawn on your position, and stay out of the boss's front while Searing Gold is active.
King Dazar leaps at targeted players and smashes everyone within 8 yards of the impact for Physical damage.
Spread out when the leap targets go out so each impact catches only its own target.
Reban lets out a terrifying roar that deals Shadow damage to the whole party and fears everyone for 4 seconds.
Interrupt this cast every time. A completed fear during Gilded Destruction or spear rain is a wipe, so assign a dedicated kicker to Reban.
T'zala charges the target and mauls them for heavy Physical damage, leaving a bleed that ticks every second and increases Physical damage taken by 10 percent for 10 seconds.
The tank mitigates the hit and a bleed-capable dispeller removes the wound immediately, especially before the next Blade Combo lands.
T'zala leaps at targeted players and deals Physical damage to everyone within 8 yards of each impact.
Marked players move away from the group, and everyone else gives them room so the leaps hit nobody extra.
Stack cooldowns or call an external when Blade Combo overlaps Savage Maul after the 80 percent mount, and face the boss away from the party while Searing Gold empowers his melee.
Hold your biggest cooldown for Gilded Destruction, keep the 15 second follow-up damage healed, and dispel the Savage Maul bleed off the tank on sight.
Kick Deathly Roar on assignment, spread for Aerial Smash and Quaking Leap, and keep uptime through the movement because the shared health pool rewards clean cleave.
When Gilded Destruction is cast, spears spawn on your current location, so be moving the moment the smash goes out.
Tyrannical: Weeks the Gilded Destruction smash plus its damage-over-time effect and a spear clip will kill anyone without a defensive, and the Blade Combo into Savage Maul overlap after 80 percent can delete a tank between heals. Plan one defensive per Gilded Destruction and pre-assign tank externals for the mounted phase.
