Shield-wielding tank with Consecration, Avenger's Shield, and Holy Power. What the kit brings to Prey, the fundamentals for the role, and current video coverage.
This page keeps the relevant video search and WoW-God tools together, but it is not presented as a finished, current playbook until its activity-specific research and source review are complete.
Walk in knowing which active mitigation covers which hit. Pulling first and hoping the healer catches up is how a routine pack becomes a wipe.
Name the mob and the spell that actually threatens the pull, before it starts, so stops are neither duplicated nor missed.
Spend movement and crowd control to create somewhere safe to stand, then bring the pack back together so the damage dealers are not chasing it one mob at a time.
One death, one missed assignment, one cooldown traded badly. Name the decision that caused it, change that one thing next attempt, and leave the rest alone.
The Prey plan specific to Protection Paladin has not been written yet. The facts above are this spec's; the numbered list below is true for the role and is not a substitute. The class guide is the maintained source.
