Voidsteel Decree and Sundering Edict
Mitigate the hit, then hand the boss over immediately. The Edict holder stays in melee as a flex soaker but must not be tanking when the next Decree starts.
Averzian opens The Voidspire with a discipline check. Tanks trade every Voidsteel Decree on a strict rhythm, melee rotate through Standard of Annihilation soaks around Nullweight, and the raid sidesteps each Endless March before Perfect Formation stacks turn a clean fight into a lost damage race.
Set the formation: Tank Averzian near the entrance facing the wall. Melee stack behind, ranged spread loosely toward the center. The first Voidsteel Decree lands about ten seconds in - open with active mitigation ready rather than a full damage greed.
Trade the Decree: The active tank mitigates each Voidsteel Decree; the other taunts the instant it lands. Sundering Edict makes the next Decree lethal to its holder, so the rhythm is mitigate, taunt, recover, repeat.
Claim the Standards: Void Standards slam down in melee range - two on Normal, three on Heroic, four on Mythic. Each needs exactly one soaker standing on it as the plant completes. Soaking applies Nullweight, so follow the numbered rotation instead of improvising.
Spread the Volley: Voidburst Volley fires missiles at every ranged player. Take your six-yard spacing before the cast finishes and keep casting - the damage is trivial when nobody overlaps.
Sidestep the March: At full energy Averzian faces a wall and begins Endless March, trampling everything in his lane. Clear the lane early to a flank, keep damage rolling while he walks, and never cross in front of him.
Re-form and race the ramp: After each March he gains a stack of Perfect Formation and resets to the center. Re-form the opening positions immediately and repeat the cycle. Most kills land inside three Marches; the fourth is usually a wipe call.
The written plan is maintained separately from the changing video feed. Check current hotfixes and follow your raid leader's marked wall and cooldown assignments.
Mitigate the hit, then hand the boss over immediately. The Edict holder stays in melee as a flex soaker but must not be tanking when the next Decree starts.
Wipe condition: A tank taking consecutive Decrees dies through externals, and a Decree into the raid cleaves everyone in front of the boss.
One soaker per banner, standing on it as the plant completes. Follow the numbered order because Nullweight rules you out of the next soak.
Wipe condition: An unclaimed Standard detonates raid-wide and leaves a permanent void zone; a double-soaked banner wastes a rotation slot and breaks the order.
Hold six yards of spacing whenever the Volley casts, especially in the reset window after a March.
Wipe condition: Overlapping missiles chunk stacked players during the same window healers need for banner and Decree recovery.
Read the lane the moment he turns, clear it early, and attack from the flanks while he walks. Melee follow beside him, never in front.
Wipe condition: The trample is lethal, and panicking through the lane late usually drags other players' Volley spacing with you.
Treat each March as a permanent ramp. Front-load damage, keep soak and swap mistakes at zero, and plan the kill inside three cycles.
Wipe condition: Every extra March adds unavoidable raid damage until healing simply runs out.
A crushing strike on the current tank that applies Sundering Edict and hits everything in front of Averzian.
Response: Active mitigation for every cast, an immediate taunt after impact, and nobody but the active tank in front.
Sharply increases Physical damage taken from Averzian and lasts longer than the gap between Decrees.
Response: The debuffed tank drops boss duty until it expires. Do not plan around eating a second Decree through immunities.
Averzian plants void banners in melee range - two on Normal, three on Heroic, four on Mythic. Each detonates unless a player is claiming it.
Response: One soaker per banner in the pre-written order. The inactive tank covers any gap in the rotation.
Claiming a Standard applies a lingering weight that prevents you from claiming another.
Response: Rotate soakers strictly. On Mythic it persists through the following set, so the order needs two full groups of depth.
A barrage of void missiles at every ranged player that splashes anyone within six yards.
Response: Pre-spread at range and keep healers out of splash range of each other.
Averzian faces a wall and marches across the arena, trampling anything in his lane before resetting to the center.
Response: Clear the lane early, damage from the flanks, and re-form the opening positions as he resets.
Each completed Endless March permanently increases Averzian's damage dealt.
Response: Lust on pull, front-load cooldowns, and treat the third March as the practical deadline.
Own the Decree rhythm: mitigate, taunt, recover. The Edict tank stays close as the flex banner soaker and takes the boss back only after the debuff drops.
Damage is scripted: Decree impacts, banner plants, and the Volley after each March. Save the mapped raid cooldown for that Volley and let personals cover the rest until Perfect Formation forces more.
Your banner number is a kill-or-wipe assignment. Soak on time, then return to the boss - chasing extra soaks with Nullweight active does nothing.
Spread wide enough that Volley never overlaps, and use each March as your best uninterrupted damage window from the flanks.
This fight is a rhythm, and the pull gets strictly harder with every March. Mistakes you survive early still cost you the kill later.
