Eternal Venom
The stacking nature DoT that everything applies. Ten stacks is death - nine on Mythic - and only Feast soaks remove them.
Vexhul and Ithraz are a two-boss cleave fight ruled by Eternal Venom: most mechanics stack it, ten stacks is instant death, and the ONLY cleanser is deliberately soaking Ithraz's Ravenous Feast. The raid manages stacks like a currency while keeping both serpents' health even, because a death hands the survivor stacking Uncoiled Wrath.
Track your venom: Watch your Eternal Venom counter like a health bar - abilities stack it, 10 stacks kills instantly (9 on Mythic), and Feast soaks are the only way down. Never volunteer for a mechanic at high stacks.
Soak the Feast in threes: Ravenous Feast strikes three times as a split-soak circle with knockback. The three assigned groups take one strike each, brace for the push, and bank the stack removal.
Handle Vexhul's side: The Vexhul tank fights the Caustic Deluge channel pushback; everyone dodges the Spawn of Vexhul's spinning toxic beam, kills the adds, and one assigned player soaks each Caustic Globule before its 10 second fuse venoms the whole raid.
Handle Ithraz's side: The Ithraz tank eats three Stone Breaker slams - every slam must hit a player - then swaps for 1.5 minutes of amplified Stone Breaker damage. Coiling Ichor players pulse damage to those nearby, so they run to the edge and drop their puddle in a safe lane.
Kill the Blood Mass, dodge everything: Nuke the Blood Mass add that spawns after each Feast soak, dodge Sanguine Storm swirlies and the slime waves rolling off the platform backs, and keep two-target cleave rolling with even health.
Survive each intermission: At 2:30, 5:30, and 8:00 Vexhul jumps to the middle and sweeps a rotating toxic beam - the orbs around him spin in the beam's travel direction, so read them and rotate ahead of it. Ithraz relocates to a new edge spot (one tank runs within range to prevent an AoE), Submerge rains venom puddles that fill one platform section, and everyone dodges the Vile Flood frontal beam for 14 seconds. Then Phase 1 repeats on a smaller platform.
The written plan is maintained separately from the changing video feed. Check current hotfixes and follow your raid leader's marked wall and cooldown assignments.
The stacking nature DoT that everything applies. Ten stacks is death - nine on Mythic - and only Feast soaks remove them.
Wipe condition: A player at cap who takes any venom mechanic dies instantly and, on Mythic, leaves a Globule where they fell.
Split-soak all three rapid strikes with the assigned groups, brace the knockback, and treat the removed stack as the reward.
Wipe condition: A missed strike is heavy raid damage AND the raid keeps its venom stacks - the fight's economy collapses.
Each slam must hit a player: the assigned tank takes three, then swaps out for 1.5 minutes while amplified.
Wipe condition: An empty slam is raid-wide damage and a knockback; a fourth slam on the same tank is usually fatal.
Tank into the pushback; one player soaks each Globule inside 10 seconds.
Wipe condition: An unsoaked Globule applies Eternal Venom to every player in the raid at once.
Run to the edge while pulsing damage to those nearby, get single-target healing, and drop the expiry puddle in a planned safe lane.
Wipe condition: Ichor walked through the raid or dropped mid-platform poisons the shrinking play space.
Keep both serpents' health even to the very end.
Wipe condition: The surviving serpent gains 25 percent increased damage every 4 seconds, stacking - a staggered kill becomes a wipe timer.
The stacking nature DoT most mechanics apply; death at 10 stacks (9 on Mythic).
Response: Budget your stacks and clear them at every Feast.
A boss nukes its current target if they leave its range.
Response: Tanks stay in range through every reposition, including intermission relocations.
Passive raid-wide damage all fight.
Response: Healers pace throughput; there is no downtime to bank.
A channeled pushback on the tank that increases their Deluge damage taken and creates Caustic Globules.
Response: Pre-position against the push and rotate cooldowns through the channel.
Explodes after 10 seconds, applying Eternal Venom to all players - unless one player soaks it first.
Response: Assigned low-stack players soak each Globule deliberately.
Summons Spawn of Vexhul that spew a spinning toxic beam around the arena.
Response: Kill the adds fast and move with the beam, never through it - and do not move erratically if its beam targets you.
AoE damage that forms waves pathing across the arena.
Response: Sidestep the wave lanes as they cross.
Three rapid split-soak strikes with knockback that increase Feast damage taken for 8 seconds but remove a Venom stack per soak.
Response: Three groups, one strike each, healers covering the window.
Debuffed players pulse damage to those nearby and drop a puddle on expiry.
Response: Run out, take spot heals, place the puddle at the planned edge.
Pushes players away then slams repeatedly; each slam must hit a player, and hit players take 33 percent increased Stone Breaker damage for 1.5 minutes.
Response: The assigned tank soaks three in a row, then swaps; immunities can cheat individual slams.
Venom rains onto the platform and permanently fills one section per intermission, while Vexhul's rotating beam and Ithraz's 14 second Vile Flood frontal sweep the survivors.
Response: Read the orb spin for the beam direction, shift to the new clean area by Ithraz, and dodge the frontal channel.
Swap after every third Stone Breaker slam, fight the Deluge pushback with your back to open ground, and sprint to Ithraz's new intermission position so the range nuke never fires.
Cooldown every Feast soak window, single-target the Coiling Ichor carriers, and watch venom counters - a player at 8 or 9 stacks is a triage priority, not a note for later.
Two-target cleave with the health bars locked together, hard-swap to the Blood Mass after each Feast, and volunteer for Globule soaks only at low venom stacks.
Your venom count decides what you may soak. Say it out loud when assignments are called, and remember each intermission permanently shrinks the platform - sloppy puddle placement compounds.
