Standing there and seeing nothing?

  • practice. Convention among strong players. Widely followed, but it is not a rule and it can be wrong.Open your own quest log map. If the game draws no marker there, you are not in the phase for it, and that is definitive. Trust the game over us, and tell us in the comments so we can record it.

What To Do

Quest Text

We stabilized most of the injured. But many of the earthen you saved need more help. Nerubians often fight with corrosive poisons that eats away even our stone bodies. Fungarian flesh has long been used by our healers for its medicinal powers. The fungarian takeover of the quarry is one unexpected boon to our situation, one we will adapt to. <Adelgonn looks grimly proud.> One we will adapt to. As the Unbound always do. But I can't leave Ebona's side. Will you help me?

Field notes

Objectives and map pin

Blizzard's public API publishes a quest's text and rewards but not its objectives, its own level, whether it can be shared, or any map coordinate. Nobody has synced quest 79553 yet, so there is nothing to show here rather than a guess. Running the WowGodSync addon while you play contributes those fields for everyone.

Have I done this?

Check it in game

Quest completion is stored per character on Blizzard's side and is not in the public API, so paste this in your chat box and it prints true or false for “A Natural Remedy” on the character you are logged into.

Completion check
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(79553))
Warband-wide check (11.0+)
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompletedOnAccount(79553))

A false also comes back for a quest id the client does not know, so it means “not recorded as complete” rather than proof the quest exists on your account.
