The faint marks are every other quest objective recorded in this zone. There is no zone artwork here, so they stand in for the coastline: quests only send you where the zone is walkable.

Standing there and seeing nothing?

  • practice. Convention among strong players. Widely followed, but it is not a rule and it can be wrong.Open your own quest log map. If the game draws no marker there, you are not in the phase for it, and that is definitive. Trust the game over us, and tell us in the comments so we can record it.

What To Do

Quest Text

The quarry is overrun with fungarians, all of the mining tunnels are collapsed, and we do not have time to clear them out and rebuild! However, I did spy a good amount of ore on the ground on the way here. It would be a start at repairing the Coreway but... <Baelgrim sighs and grimly looks at the injured Unbound earthen.> I am needed here. With Adelgonn's people. My people. Will you gather the ore in my stead?

Field notes

Objectives and map pin

Blizzard's public API publishes a quest's text and rewards but not its objectives, its own level, whether it can be shared, or any map coordinate. Nobody has synced quest 78463 yet, so there is nothing to show here rather than a guess. Running the WowGodSync addon while you play contributes those fields for everyone.

Have I done this?

Check it in game

Quest completion is stored per character on Blizzard's side and is not in the public API, so paste this in your chat box and it prints true or false for “Building Blocks” on the character you are logged into.

Completion check
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(78463))
Warband-wide check (11.0+)
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompletedOnAccount(78463))

A false also comes back for a quest id the client does not know, so it means “not recorded as complete” rather than proof the quest exists on your account.
