What To Do
Complete the quest objective shown in your tracker in Thaldraszus, then return to the turn-in NPC.
Quest Text
Even with their leader gone, the Tarasek are unlikely to stop using their poison-tipped spears simply because we ask them nicely. I cannot risk even one of these weapons being used on an unsuspecting traveler. They will all need to be destroyed. If you did not see any in the caches by the pools, then the Embertooth are likely keeping their spears closer to the source. No one else will get hurt because of my carelessness. Enter the cave and destroy any weapon caches that you find.
Plan the run before you travel
Thaldraszus belongs to the Dragonflight archive. Start with its campaign track if this record is unavailable or the next step is missing.
Check the exact quest giver and turn-in records above first. Use this page's community comments for phase changes, cave entrances, spawn timing, and corrections from the live game.
No group size is listed by Blizzard, so this is usually soloable unless the objective text says otherwise.
Pin the quest in-game, enable objective outlines, then use the exact-title references in the archive for NPC or object coordinates. Add a correction below if the live game differs from this record.
Objectives and map pin
Blizzard's public API publishes a quest's text and rewards but not its objectives, its own level, whether it can be shared, or any map coordinate. Nobody has synced quest 66465 yet, so there is nothing to show here rather than a guess. Running the WowGodSync addon while you play contributes those fields for everyone.
Check it in game
Quest completion is stored per character on Blizzard's side and is not in the public API, so paste this in your chat box and it prints true or false for “Cache and Release” on the character you are logged into.
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(66465))/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompletedOnAccount(66465))A false also comes back for a quest id the client does not know, so it means “not recorded as complete” rather than proof the quest exists on your account.
