Kicks, Cooldowns & Not Dying
In a five-player group your utility and survival matter as much as your damage. This is where keys are won or lost.

Share the interrupts
- Assign or call kicks so dangerous casts never go off.
- Bring and use crowd control on the casts you cannot kick.
- A single un-interrupted cast can wipe the group - treat interrupts as a priority.
Cooldowns and Bloodlust
- Use Bloodlust or Heroism where it does the most - usually a big pull or a hard boss.
- Line personal and group cooldowns up with big pulls, not randomly.
- Battle rezzes are limited - do not waste them early.
Personal responsibility
- Use your own defensives and healing so the healer can focus on the group.
- Stop your damage to handle a mechanic - a missed mechanic is worse than a few lost globals.
- Know each boss's dangerous ability and how you personally deal with it.
Key takeaways
- Coordinate interrupts and CC - un-kicked casts wipe keys.
- Time Bloodlust and cooldowns for the hardest pull or boss.
- Self-sustain and handle mechanics so your healer is not carrying you.
