Set Up Your Interface & Keybinds
A clean UI and good keybinds are the single biggest early upgrade to your gameplay. Clicking abilities and hunting for information costs you reactions you cannot afford.

Keybinds beat clicking
- Bind every rotational ability to a key you can press without moving off your movement keys (1-6, Q, E, R, F, T, plus Shift and Ctrl variants).
- Never click your core abilities - clickers are always a step behind, especially in PvP and high keys.
- Keep 1-6 for your most-used buttons and use Shift/Ctrl/Alt modifiers to expand without reaching.
Clean up your screen
- Move your health and resource bars near the center so you watch them without looking away from the fight.
- Enable enemy and self cast bars so you can see, react to, and interrupt casts.
- Turn on nameplates (V) with enemy cast text, and hide clutter you never read mid-fight.
Camera and movement
- Max your camera distance so you can see more of the arena or room.
- Move with the mouse and strafe with A and D - never keyboard-turn.
- Enable a clear self-highlight so you never lose your character in AoE.
